Do You Ever Say: “I HATE MY BODY?”

Do You Ever Say: “I HATE MY BODY?”

Many of the people whose goal is to lose weight and/or stop binge eating often have one thing in common – they hate their bodies. And from my experience, additionally, clients who want to lose weight are also struggling with a lack of self-worth. But for the purpose of this post, I will talk about the subject of not loving your body.

If you are one of the millions of people who are not too “impressed”, to say the least, with their body – you need to give yourself permission to love it.

Your body is a beautiful and wonderful tool for adventure. Your body isn’t designed to just be aesthetic to please other people. It is a tool that allows you to do so many things in life.

“What can I do to fall in love with my body?” – you might ask me. The most important thing you can do is to create a list of everything your body does for you and lets you do. Think of those body parts that you are especially not fond of, and think of everything they do for you and they protect you from. It is very important to thank the parts of your body that are harder for you to love. For example, thank your belly fat for protecting your organs, or for keeping you warm…

Unfortunately, we never really appreciate our body and that everything is functioning properly, till it goes “out of order.” But you can change this pattern. Make it a part of your morning routine to appreciate each of your body parts that you don’t like. Create a list of everything you love or can love about your body.

Treat your body as if it was your child, with nothing but love and the understanding that it is perfect as it is.

Love and Take Care of Yourself! Because You are Absolutely Worth It!

Have a Beautiful Day!!!
