Once you start noticing the good things that are happening in your life, any good stuff that surrounds you, more good things start happening. It’s kind of like a magnet. That’s what they call the “law of attraction”. Your positive thoughts attract similar thoughts and cause positive events in your life.
So in order for you to get the life that you want, you need to be in control of your thoughts. And it doesn’t mean that you can’t have a negative thought. You just need to become aware any time you have one, and politely walk it out, like you would an unwanted guest from your house.
There is plenty of good in your life. Accept it and start noticing all of it; and you will get much more in return to be happy about.
